An Amazing Experience I had In Pandemic

During spring 2020 all the students from Kindergarten, Twelfth-grade students to Ug and Pg students, all the teachers and administrator patched together learning opportunities to best they could navigate, along with online assignments scheduling, online lectures to last but not the least online attendance. A new epoch of life i.e mask-wearing, social-distancing, and online learning.

All the world came to a halt, were all confined to online lectures one fine day in the month of July I have been selected to European Commission Of Project a great initiative started in Vishwaniketan College Of Engineering, Khalapur. I thought the project will go on for some days probably 15 days or a month, but the project continues for months.

Initially, there was no seriousness in me as I consider this project as normal projects I did prior. But this experience was way different. We were a group of sixteen…yes the very passionate, adaptable, and active members were in one team, and that was an amazing experience working with them. Each with unique qualities and attitude made us strong and unbeatable as a group.

If you all are wondering how it started?? Who took this great initiative?? What were the vision and the mission behind this initiative?? The whole credit goes to Vishwaniketan College of Engineering situated within Sahyadri ranges to the one who works on Project-Based Learning and provides support to all the students associated with them, further led by Dr. S.S. Inamdar Sir, Dr. Vikas Vithal Shinde, and Neelam Kamthe mam.

Dr. S.S.Inamdar Sir Vice-President at Vishwaniketan i-Meet, an Educationalist with more than 32 years of experience in Engineering education dared to change this system. His exposure to the top Foreign Universities introduced him to the modern and effective style of learning called Project-Based Learning. In his pursuit to improve the education system of India and to give the best quality education to the students, he started Vishwaniketan Engineering College and Implemented the concept of Project-Based Learning there.

Dr. Vikas Vithal Shinde Sir currently working as Professor in the Mechanical engineering Department at Vishwaniketan iMEET, Khalapur, affiliated with Mumbai University. Completed Ph.D. in Project-Based Learning (PBL) from Aalborg University Denmark in the year 2014, under UNESCO chair in PBL. He is the first Ph.D. in PBL from and across India, awarded by the UNESCO chair in PBL. He is also working as Director; Centre of excellence in Project-based Learning. Furthermore, he received a prestigious “Erasmus Mundus Mobility for Life” scholarship from the European Union from the year 2010–2014.

Neelam Kamthe ma’am is head of Vishwaniketan Incubation Center and Vishwaniketan Business Modelling Excellence Center. She is trained at Arhous University, Denmark in Project-Based Thinking. She has proven capabilities in designing innovative operational and marketing strategies to generate desired resonance across potential market segments. Not only that, but she is highly knowledgeable regarding experiential digital marketing, customer relationship management, competitor analysis, and social media.

We students of Vishwaniketan are very fortunate to have such magnificent personalities within us. The first assignment given to the team was SYCRAP initially in this assignment we were a group of nine, the assignment was basically about marketing more or less setting up Social media platforms, generating leads by using various plans and tactics and yes most paramount things was as a team member

I explored too much new software, notably Mailchimp which was used for sending Emails, and Canva which was used for designing posts and stuff. Initially, we as a team was not having any experience in the Marketing field but as the day passes we become used to the new field and wonderful output of what I think by this project as we team learned such crucial values particularly team spirit, Self-belief, and Self-confidence.

Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is more intellectual play.”

The above assignment was completed, and I first time experienced virtual anchoring in the pandemic in front of dignitaries present all over the world notably Mr. Rajeev is CEO and founder of River Publishers and Cybersecurity magazine and Scyrap was created envisioned as an ongoing activity of River Publishers. Sir Rafal is an executive in IS-Wireless for sales and marketing, Sir Patrick is Co-founder and Editor of Cybersecurity Magazine with an extensive background in SAP Security.

By looking at the great work done by the team Vishwaniketan College of Engineering offered the second assignment to us as Marketing of College itself. Now, we were in the group of 16 again it was a tough assignment but as we did the first assignment very successfully the team was having the confidence to lead further successfully, and by this positive attitude shown by the team, we took that assignment.

Surprisingly the same group turned into a Startup Company. The name of the Startup Company is WOOBBLR SOLUTIONS. One thing to note is this all was possible due to Vishwaniketan Incubation Center.

Vishwaniketan Incubation Center (VIC) is an outcome of Vishwaniketan vision to promote entrepreneurship and technology start-ups of innovative ideas. VIC assists students & staff to think innovation and convert their ideas into products or services.VIC aims to achieve the objectives of the “Start-up India Initiative” and contribute to the “Make In India” dream come true.o

The WoobBlr solutions are continuously expanding with the support of teachers and team members. At present, we have eight teams formed to work collectively to fulfill the client’s requirements. That’s how I came across an amazing experience I had in a pandemic. Overall it may be said, You cannot believe in honor until you have achieved it, better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world”
