Crux Encrusted

A poem

Enchanting cryptic pandemonium inside,
gleaming cloak of celestial feathers behind you,
as you entered my lone hideout mystified,
and painted the world for me in a different hue.

What keeps your iridescent fires burning?
Take me to your altered planet so I can find out,
I want to stay there, promise me no returning.
With the map you drew we can go at sundown.

The luminescence emitting from your touch
lovingly entangled our souls until we combusted.
Don’t stop flying me higher, it’s never too much,
let me lose myself in you as you are crux-encrusted.
