Why do I love the Russian People?

I will tell you all, just a little story to explain why I love the Russian people.

When I was in my early twenties, I worked for a printing company. This company printed labels of all kinds, from biohazard labels, to Christmas gift labels, Hell, we even printed some Pokemon labels for the Trading Card Game. (I totally took some of those home with me, hahaha).

I worked as press support. I retrieved the things the pressmen needed to complete their jobs. It was a really cool job, and I learned a lot.

Every once and a while the company would have me help one of their maintenance workers for a little bit of over time.

This man was an older Russian man, by the name of Vladimir. He was hardworking, smart, generous, and had a wonderful sense of humor. I always had a great time working with him. Not only that, but he appreciated my help so much, that he would buy me lunch whenever we worked together, as well as give me rides home. At that time, I didn’t have a car or a license.

Before that time, I had never met any Russian people in real life, and in American movies, Russian men are often depicted as the villain.

After meeting Vladimir, and spending that time with him, working, I came to the conclusion that Russians are just human beings, like you and me. The same goes for people of all races, and nationalities. We all deserve some care and consideration. So, for crying out loud! Be kind to each other.
